Gurlukovic's Mercenarie's are top trained soldiers and some of them are even ranked as some of the best in Russia.. They do not have any implants of any sort, nor do they have nano-machines injected into their blood streams, this soldiers are so to say, what you see, is what you get..

In game Sergei Gurlukovic and his soldiers are hired to take over an oil tanker that houses the "Metal Gear Ray", The Mercenaries takes control of the carrier by combat-droping from a couple of KA-60 Kasatka helicopters, also known as the "Killer Whale", They repel down on deck in a dozen of small groups, and in just mare minute's the carrier is under theyre control.
